Subtle but not invisible wood frames the pungently earthy aromas of ripe red berries, earth and an interesting array of spice and dried orange peel nuances. There is good vibrancy to the sleek and mineral inflected flavors that possess a really lovely mouth feel, all wrapped in a dusty, serious, well balanced and lingering finish where the wood telegraphed by the nose resurfaces. 91 2023+
